How the calculator works

Every method is costed the same way: the cash you pay per film, plus extras and revisions, travel and the staff hours the film takes, valued at a loaded hourly cost (salary plus employer costs, divided by productive hours). Days from photos to published film are tracked alongside, because a listing without its film for a week has a cost too, even if it is hard to price.

The worked example

The calculator opens on the worked example from what a property video really costs per listing. The videographer fee of €300 including one edit sits inside the published £150 to £400 UK range; the staff cost of €30 an hour, travel, revisions and staff hours are estimates chosen for easy arithmetic. Only the Echoflicks price is an actual price: €30 for a single film (launch prices until 31 December 2026, VAT included).

• Videographer: €430 per listing, €43,000 a year at 100 listings.
• DIY phone: €100 per listing, €10,000 a year at 100 listings.
• AI film (Echoflicks): €45 per listing, €4,500 a year at 100 listings.

With a 10-film pack the Echoflicks film costs €20, which makes the AI total €35. The agency's first two films are free, a film is only counted when it is delivered, and re-cuts are free up to 10 per listing. Current prices are always on the pricing page.

Cost alone does not decide the format

A videographer can film the street, the garden, the views and an agent on camera; an AI film can only show what the listing photos show.
